About Daniel

Hi! I'm a University of Toronto Civil Engineering student with an average of 80%+ in my university mathematics courses. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in math by making difficult concepts simple and intuitive.

One thing that sets me apart is that I grew up with a learning disability myself. Because of this, I understand that every student learns differently. I take the time to identify each student's learning style and adapt my teaching methods so they can understand concepts in the way that works best for them.

Outside of academics, I've been playing piano for over 15 years, which has taught me discipline, patience, and consistency. I'm also a student leader in three University of Toronto engineering design teams, where I hold executive positions and work closely with others to solve complex problems.

My students often describe me as approachable, open-minded, outgoing, and easy to learn from. I believe tutoring should be engaging, interactive, and even fun—because students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My goal isn't just to help you get better grades—it's to help you become a confident, independent problem solver.
