About Harsheta

Hi there! My name is Harsheta Sharma and I am a second year mechanical engineering student at the University of Toronto. I have always had a passion for sharing what my knowledge with others and what better way to do that than tutor my fellow students.

As your tutor, I will always put forth my best efforts to ensure my students have a deep and comprehensive understanding of their material and are able think critically to apply that knowledge.

I will foster a sense of curiosity in students about the subject they are learning which will enable them to connect with the material in a better manner allowing them to gain a deeper understanding.

For each session, I will create lesson plans using student- sent material that will allow students to address all their concerns during the session while allowing me to gain context into their areas of focus.

I will walk students through homework and other practice examples and thoroughly explain the process so students gain an understanding of the material.

In addition, I will also provide students with resources at the end of the session which they can use for further practice and help.

All in all, my mission is to help students view education and learning from a more open perspective by ensuring they get the help they desire to succeed.

About the lesson

Provides one-on-one comprehensive lessons on topics students struggling with in school with a premade lesson plan that includes examples types of practice problems and future resources.

Has 3 years previous experience as a tutor tutoring university and college level high school courses.

Is well versed with many of the textbooks used in class and is able to formulate lesson plans that follow the textbook curriculum.
