About Priyanshi
I graduated with an Honors degree with Distinction in Political Science and have years of hands-on experience tutoring K-12 students. My path to teaching started during my own academic journey, where I realized that true understanding comes from having the right tools and guidance, not just working harder. That experience inspired me to step into tutoring to help students break through their own academic hurdles.
I work with learners across all grade levels: helping younger kids master core reading, writing, and math skills, while guiding high schoolers through essay structure, research, and critical analysis. My focus is on creating a clear, encouraging environment where students feel totally comfortable asking questions and tackling hard problems at their own pace.
Beyond one-on-one lessons, I’ve led student workshops, mentored youth research groups, and moderated academic panels. Working with such diverse groups taught me how to quickly spot a student's learning style, simplify complex ideas, and build the kind of confidence that carries over into all of their schoolwork.

My goal is to build real academic confidence alongside core subject mastery. Instead of relying on rote memorization, I break complex topics down into clear, structured frameworks so concepts actually stick. Whether we are analyzing literature, sharpening essay structure, tackling math problems, or practicing public speaking, I adapt my pacing and techniques to match how each student learns best.
A typical 60-minute session starts with ten minutes of reviewing prior material, tackling homework questions, and setting clear goals for the day. The next thirty-five minutes focus on core interactive instruction, diving into new concepts, guided problem-solving, and hands-on exercises together. We wrap up the final fifteen minutes with independent practice, a quick recap of key takeaways, and personalized feedback to track progress.
What sets my coaching apart is a focus on mentorship alongside academics. Beyond teaching curriculum content, I help students develop critical thinking, solid study habits, and strong communication skills. My goal is to empower students to become self-assured, independent learners who feel ready to take on challenging material.
These lessons are tailored for K-12 students seeking targeted support in English, essay writing, reading comprehension, public speaking, ESL, and foundational math, as well as any student looking to build better academic habits and approach their schoolwork with genuine confidence.
