About Nicole

Hi, My name is Nicole!

As I pursue my degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Waterloo. I have noticed that many of us within the university struggle with English quite a ton. I, on the other hand, was great at English!

Which is why I want to tutor in this subject. With high grades in high school English courses, I believe that I can help you understand those Shakespeare texts and write the essays necessary to get those A's we all want!

About the lesson

My teaching methods are simple. I go by the simple acronym, U.R.R.

Understand: I'll break down the topics, down to the basics. So that we can start simple and small to grow bigger and larger in our understanding and comprehension of the topic.

Retain: my methods will make sure that the content stays in your head, so the next assignment won't look as confusing as it would before.

Relay: Once you understand, and are able to retain. You can now relay and be able to relay this information to your teachers, your friends, your classmates, and on your assignments. The techniques you understood and were able to retain. You will be able to relay using my methods.

Overall, I make sure we aren't just completing the current book or the current assignment but giving you the tips to always be able to comprehend the book or write the assignment to the best of your ability, all within an hour or two!

Details

Since I am a student with her own assignments to complete. There is a cancellation fee of $10. This is only if the cancellation is done the day the tutoring was supposed to take place. (E.g You schedule lessons on Monday, and cancel on Monday. The cancellation fee will take place. If you cancel on Sunday, there is no fee)
