About (E) Yara

I’m a guitar teacher with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on guitar. Teaching has always been my passion because I love helping students connect with music on a deep, emotional level. I believe that technical skill and expressive playing go hand in hand. In my lessons, I focus on building solid technique, strong music theory knowledge, and practical fluency across the fretboard. I guide students through chords, scales, and improvisation, always linking theory to real playing. Slow practice, mindful repetition, and tone awareness are key parts of my method. I want students to feel confident in their playing while expressing their own musical voice. I also encourage creativity, personal expression, and active listening. Whether your goal is performing, recording, or songwriting, I tailor lessons to help you grow. Each session balances skill-building, musical understanding, and fun. My aim is to help students play with confidence, technical ability, and heartfelt emotion.
