About Akrasan
Hi, my name is Akrasan. I have 3+ years tutoring/teaching experience through high school peer mentorships and being a teaching assistant. I was able to specialize in math ranging from elementary school to high school math and no matter how hard the concept seemed I can simplify and explain it with relative ease. I believe that every student has potential to excel in academia and that I can help unlock that potential through my expert guidance as well as my skills in making teaching fun. My teaching style combines a teacher and student centered approach as well as a inquiry based learning model. This allows me to not only instruct students on how to apply concepts properly but also allows my students to actively engage in the concepts and raise questions about why we follow those concepts. Not only that I adapt to my student's specific learning style to ensure that they grasp the concepts better. Also I make sure that students are allowed to slow me down or even go back to previous lessons to rejog concepts to match my student's pace and not the other way around.
