About Travis

Hey - i'm Travis, a qualified architect, self builder and professional tutor. I have taught as a tutor for 5+ years as well as being in practice for nearly 8 years. I run my own architectural practice which focuses on bespoke residential development, I have previously worked at larger practices that work on a global scale.

I have tutored in excess of 150 students in my professional career, and wanted to open my passion for architectural education to a wider audience who are not yet at university hence why I have joined Superprof.

Whether you’re looking to excel at university, prepare for university, or want to have a conversation about architecture, you can trust in my professional expertise and commitment to your success.

About the lesson

My teaching approach prioritises an interactive and student-centred learning experience. As such the first session will always be a conversation on what you hope to gain from our sessions.

I use a combination of visual aids, project-based learning, and guided software exercises to help students grasp architectural concepts with confidence.

Lessons are tailored to each students requirements, providing ample time for exploring design principles, CAD/BIM software, and sustainability practices. As each session is tailored individually sessions lengths vary but most will be between 1-2 hours.

Hello, a few notes on pricing

The first session is always free, during this introductory session we will get to know each other, discuss goals, and the ways we may go about achieving these.

When travelling to an individuals home or public meeting space, a travel cost will be incurred this is to cover my non taught travel time.
