About Aditi
Hi, I'm Aditi (Didi)! I'm an Engineering Science student at the University of Toronto, focused on aerospace and robotics. It's been the kind of program that doesn't let you get away with half-understanding something, so I've had to get genuinely good at breaking down hard concepts and making them click.
Math, physics, chemistry, programming are actually fun, and I think that comes through when I teach. My goal isn't just to get you through your next test; it's to help you see why the subject makes sense in the first place, so it stops feeling like a wall and starts feeling like something you can actually handle— maybe even enjoy.
I'm patient, I explain things clearly, and I genuinely care whether you leave a session more confident than you started.

Teaching Methodology
I try to find the gaps in knowledge before I teach. A few quick questions to find where a concept is actually breaking down, since most struggles trace back to a small gap from weeks earlier, not the current topic. Then I work example-first: we hit a problem together, get stuck at the sticking point, and I build the explanation right there instead of front-loading rules nobody's asked for yet. For coding, that means writing and breaking things together. Before we move on, I make the student explain it back to me to ensure we can get a mutual understanding.

What Sets Me Apart
I built and ran a tutoring program in high school, teaching math, physics, chemistry, and programming to middle and high schoolers. That's forced me to treat tutoring as a system: staying engaging over many sessions, adapting across a range of ages. I'm also studying engineering with a robotics/space focus, so the math and physics aren't abstract to me. I use them, and I can usually show a student where they actually matter.
