Make the most out of at-home learning and test-prep in 2021!
I help students throughout the entire test prep process for TOFEL and SAT, including schedule creation, assessment, reviewing key concepts, and providing thorough explanations. According to the student's need, I will prepare workshops that target specific topics or test sessions to help students overcome any confusions or "stuck points."
Especially for reading comprehension and writing, I can help students grasp key content quickly and form a structural view of an essay--skills that can improve students' overall academic ability and confidence. I also provides guidance and editing advices for students working on their college/university admission essays.
I have been a dedicated peer tutor and mentor throughout high school in the U.S. and university in Toronto, Canada. Having scored 1510/1600 on the SAT and 111/120 on the TOEFL (English as foreign language) in 2016, I've accumulated test-taking skills and a thorough understanding of test formats throughout the years.
From being an English language learner to obtaining multiple awards in the Social Sciences at UofT, I've learned the importance of good academic writing & reading, as well as the finding and following a passion. I provide academic and test-taking guidance for all students in need, especially new comers and English learners. I am dedicated to students' success in the college/university admission process, and assisting them generally in this important period of one's academic and personal development.
