About Barbara
I am an international student at the University of Waterloo pursuing a Bachelor of Honors Math majoring in Computational Mathematics. I am currently in my third year and I have tutored Math during my years in High School. I have also prepared students for University entry exams in the past. My favorite courses are Linear Algebra, Optimization and Computer science. I speak German as my Native Language and feel comfortable tutoring students learning German as well.

I always try to put myself into the shoes of my student, I think about how I first understood the things I teach without the knowledge I have now. And I always give examples to make it easier for students to grasp the concepts I am explaining, and I encourage my students to explain the concepts to me as well to check whether they understood and to see if they need further explaining.
