About Barret
Hey I'm Barret, and I've recently completed my Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne and this year will be undertaking an Honours year researching in the World Renowned Doherty Institute! I am currently teaching VCE Biology Units 3 and 4 students, and have tutored for the past 3 years.
I've always had a natural passion for science and tutoring allows me to (hopefully!!) encourage and develop your passion for science and biology too! I love to see my students learn new content and see their growth across the year as they become more and more confident with their learning.
I encourage students to develop their biology intuition and to shift from memorisation based understanding to a more broadly applicable and deeper learning style that sets students up for difficult exam questions that can appear at VCE!

I tutor VCE Biology Units 3 and 4 students, focussing on practice questions designed to best prepare students for their SACs and Exams.
Each lesson revolves around covering important course content, followed by practice questions addressing this content and any other challenging concepts that students may struggle.
Students can opt to learn ahead of their class curriculum to get a head start, or focus on revising content that they've already covered, it's entirely up to the student! Lessons typically go for 1 hour, but can change depending on the student's wishes and any upcoming important tests, SACs, or exams they may wish to spend more time revising for.
