About McKenna

Hello! And welcome to the wonderful world of computer drafting! I am an entertainment designer with a BFA from UNCSA in Scene Design. I have worked in event design, theater, opera, film, themed entertainment, and dance. I've drafted for about 8 years, have extensive knowledge of several programs, and love discovering the weird things they're great at! My work is currently being showcased by Vectorworks on social media, and I have presented my work with several major designers around the country. I am so excited to gain a drafting friend!

About the lesson

Depending on the students level of experience, I tend to start with 2D tools and drafting standards, before moving on to 3D tools, rendering, texturing, camera views, and rendering. We can tailor projects based on your dream portfolio, and your dream schedule.
Example projects include:
-tracing advanced drafts to learn tools quickly
-advanced documentation techniques
-full show packages for theatre, opera, themed entertainment etc.
-3D modeling simple shapes
-3D modeling building facades
-3D modeling and rendering your designs
-Using Vectorworks in conjunction with Twinmotion
