About Yves

Hi, my name is Yves

I live here in the Philippines since birth and until now. I am a native speaker of Tagalog.

I am very effective Tagalog tutor for 20 to 70 years old. You will notice this during our lesson.

So to start with, please book atleast 2 lessons with me to see how helpful and effective I am as your Tagalog tutor.

During my spare time I do vlogging related to Motivation, Self Improvement, and Life Success - to help others and to make them realize that they have hope and opportunity in reaching their goals. Which I can also apply for my student in learning my native language.

I would like to teach and help you learn Tagalog easily using my latest Visual & interactive materials and other resources.
You will see all of these during our Trial lesson.

I would like to give you Free access to those resources that you could use during our lessons and throughout your Tagalog
learning journey with me, and even during your free time, and until you become fluent in Tagalog.

I have more ideas and plans that will help my students learn Tagalog easily and effectively.

During our lessons, you can ask any questions, and you can suggest the kind of lessons that you are interested in

I always value and respect the time of my students, so I am always present during the scheduled lesson. I do have back-up internet connection, portable power generator, and other materials needed for Tagalog lessons.

In our first lesson, you will learn more on how to speak and construct Tagalog sentences, and I will assess your level and get a better understanding of your needs. Then, I will develop a personalized learning plan for you, and for your future lessons. If you have any questions, clarifications, requests, please let me know anytime (or we can discuss them during our scheduled lessons.)

About the lesson

I have been teaching Tagalog (face to face, and online) for almost 7 long years
Free Tagalog Learning Materials will be given for my regular students.
I customize my lessons for each students base on their focus, purpose, and need.

I encourage all my students to talk as often as possible and to do their best, but without giving them too much pressure. I treat them as my friends to make them feel comfortable with me, while I am doing my responsibility as a teacher.

As a teacher, it is also my job to motivate my students. Making them realize and feel that learning Tagalog with me is very easy, possible, and comfortable.

The students can use any gadgets (computer, laptop, tablets, cellphone).. most students prefer to use computer o larger gadgets to increase visibility. The students can use headset or headphone to enhance or maximize the audio quality

It is okay with me if the student will be late. I will just wait for you until the time ends.

If the student would like to end the lesson, for any reasons, it is also okay with me.

Currently, I do not have any lessons prepared for kids.

Some of the reasons why my students want to learn Tagalog are to be able to communicate with their family, loved ones, and friends, as well as to visit or live comfortably in the Philippines

Take full advantage of my availability and of my great Tagalog Teaching Skills, and of my current rate that may increase anytime. You will also be amazed for having me in your Tagalog Learning Journey.

You will be given exercises/test that will help you learn more everything about Tagalog language... These are optional, you can do these activity anytime and whenever you want to help you learn more. There will be no pressure for any activities.
