Methodology
My approach is based on understanding where the students are before approaching. I allow students to make mistakes, then help them recognize the shape of the mistake in order to go back and engineer a situationally-appropriate means of avoiding it in the future. I believe that each student's needs are unique, and therefore that every approach to teaching should be unique as well.
Background
I am a musician and professional lyricist working in English in Quebec City, Montreal, and Sherbrooke. My professional background also includes over a decade of tutoring for people with special educational requirements, as well as substitute teaching and daycare education.
