About Celeste
I have been teaching since I was in eighth grade, and I truly enjoy working with students who struggle. After high school, I went to Duquesne University to achieve my Bachelor's Degree as a professional teacher. I began teaching in classrooms at the age of 20 and have loved being a teacher all my life. My students have ranged in ages from 5 to 75 and I believe that you are never too old to learn something new. My certifications are in music and math, but I have also taught Spanish for over 20 years. It is important that we all learn something new whenever possible, but I also believe that we should have fun and enjoy life!

I have successfully taught students of all ages to master the art of mathematics for several years. Everyone learns differently, and I will discover YOUR best and easiest way to learn. We can work together until you are comfortable working independently, then revisit anything that you still find challenging.
Ideally, you should be a middle school student. We can work on your homework or another math subject that you find difficult. My patience and willingness to meet you at your level is what sets me apart. While you may not enjoy the subject, you can still enjoy having the chance to accomplish something difficult. Let's see how we can make you feel less frustrated!
