About Vimmy
I got into video editing the unglamorous way — teaching myself, making mistakes, and figuring out what actually makes a video work by editing real projects for brands and businesses. No film school, no formal training, just a lot of trial and error and a portfolio to show for it.
Here's what I learned along the way: knowing every button in CapCut won't make you a good editor. Understanding why a cut works, why a shot holds for exactly the right length, why a sound choice makes something hit harder — that's the actual skill.
So that's what I teach. Not shortcuts or software tricks, but how to think like an editor. My lessons mix real commercial examples, hands-on editing, and honest feedback — the kind I wish someone had given me earlier. Whether you're starting from zero or already editing but stuck in a rut, I'll help you make videos that actually look and feel professional.
