About Phoebe
My passion for violin began through orchestral performances and classical music training during my early musical education. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a Master’s Degree in Advanced String Pedagogy. Over the last 9 years, I have helped students strengthen musical confidence through supportive teaching and structured learning methods.
I believe every learner improves differently, so I adapt lessons according to personality, confidence level, and musical interests. Some students respond well to technical repetition and focused exercises, while others improve through listening practice and expressive interpretation. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and balanced musical development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music, studying violin repertoire, and exploring modern string arrangements. Staying active in music helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching violin is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students express emotion and confidence through music.

My violin lessons focus on helping students improve technical skill while building confidence and emotional expression through music. I teach bow control, posture, intonation, rhythm development, finger coordination, vibrato, and musical phrasing through practical exercises that make learning enjoyable and rewarding. Lessons are calm, supportive, and designed for steady musical growth.
Beginners strengthen their foundations through open string exercises, rhythm practice, and simple melodies that gradually improve coordination and tone quality. Intermediate learners work on stronger bow consistency, finger accuracy, and musical interpretation through guided repertoire and technical drills. Advanced students focus on expressive performance, advanced violin techniques, and polished stage preparation through detailed musical study.
I encourage students to enjoy music naturally instead of becoming discouraged by technical challenges. Lessons support confidence, creativity, and personal expression while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, technically strong, and emotionally connected violin players.
