About Naomi
My passion for the violin began through an admiration for its expressive range and beautiful sound. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Violin Pedagogy and Performance. During my 12 years of teaching experience, I have worked with learners at many different stages of development.
I believe every student deserves patient instruction and personalized support. My teaching approach focuses on helping learners understand techniques clearly while developing confidence in their abilities. I enjoy creating lessons that are structured, encouraging, and rewarding.
Outside teaching, I spend time studying violin repertoire, attending performances, and exploring performance practices. These experiences bring fresh inspiration into my lessons. Helping students achieve meaningful musical progress continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop strong fundamentals while enjoying the process of making music. We focus on posture improvement, bow control, intonation accuracy, rhythm stability, finger coordination, and tone production through structured exercises and carefully selected pieces. Every lesson encourages steady growth and greater confidence.
As students continue progressing, we work on vibrato development, position changes, articulation techniques, sight reading, musical interpretation, ensemble skills, and performance preparation. Lessons are personalized to suit individual goals and learning styles, allowing learners to improve at a comfortable pace. Consistent guidance helps students build reliable skills and musical understanding.
I believe violin learning should combine discipline, creativity, and enjoyment. My goal is to help students become expressive musicians who feel confident sharing their music with others. Every lesson supports artistic growth, technical development, and long-term success.
