About Ursula
Playing music should feel like an intuitive conversation rather than a rigid chore. Your time with me focuses on building a solid foundation through the RCM syllabus, ensuring every note carries intent.
We spend time on sight reading and careful technical execution. Because I hold a BMus, I bring a high level of academic rigor to your practice, though I keep our environment relaxed and poetic. Each class includes specific weekly practice modules assigned to ensure you never feel directionless. I look forward to hearing your progress develop over the coming months.

Have you ever wondered how 13 years of dedication to the violin might simplify your own path toward musical clarity? My training began at age 4, leading me to a BMus from the Toronto Faculty of Music where I refined my grasp of left hand agility and complex scales and arpeggios. I often work with self-taught players who feel lost in the woods of modern information.
My approach remains deeply attentive to the fine details of vibrato and tone production. It is a joy to guide those struggling with shifting positions or bowing technique. You deserve a clear map for your growth. We shall navigate the RCM syllabus together until your musical goals become reality.
