About Tamy
Tamy is a professional violinist. She holds a Master’s degree in Violin Performance from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the State of São Paulo. She has performed at major international festivals, including the Kennedy Center, Young Euro Classic, Grachtenfestival, Berlioz Festival, and the Campos do Jordão Music Festival, and has worked with renowned teachers such as Liliana Chiriac, Luiz Amato, Yehonatan Berick, and Ida Kavafian. A former member of the São Paulo State Youth Orchestra, she has collaborated with distinguished soloists and conductors. Her repertoire spans classical, Brazilian jazz, folk styles, world music, and her own compositions.

Methodology
My teaching approach is fully personalized. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, choosing the methods and materials that best support their learning style, goals, and pace. There is no single path that works for everyone, and I adapt my instruction to ensure each student progresses with confidence and enjoyment.
