About Ellis Mari
I've been playing violin for 15 years, including 8 years of formal training, so I know both the joy and the frustration of learning this instrument!
My lessons are for complete beginners and intermediate players of all ages. So, whether you're a child just starting out, an adult picking it up for the first time, or someone returning after a long break. No prior music theory knowledge required!
I also speak Russian, French, and English fluently, so if you're more comfortable in any of those languages, we can make that work too.
I'd love to help you fall in love with the violin!

A typical lesson with me starts with scales, bowing exercises, and posture checks before moving on to repertoire and technique work. I focus on building strong fundamentals from the start, because good habits early make everything easier later!
Lessons are adapted to your pace and goals, whether you want to play for fun, pass an exam, or just finally learn that one song you've always loved.
