About Benigno

He began his studies at the Juan Manuel Olivares School of Music, from which he graduated in 2016 as a lyric singer, his teachers were Víctor López and Sara Catarine. In 2015 he debuted in the opera Traviata with the character of Giuseppe; That same year he is accepted in the Latin American Chair of Singing of the National System of Orchestra and Youth and Children's Choirs of Venezuela, directed by Master Sara Catarine. He has worked with Maestro Carlos Sala Bellaster (Venezuela) in Russian repertoire, with Maestro Eduardo Calcaño (Venezuela) in the repertoire of art songs, with Maestro Dann Coakwell (USA) in the German repertoire and with the outstanding international soprano Mirella Freni (Italy) in the operatic repertoire. During 2016 and 2017 he receives master classes with the great tenor Jack Li Vigni in New York City. He arrives in Murcia, Spain at the end of 2017 and is accepted in the Discantus choir directed by Maestro Ángel Carrillo. He currently addresses the repertoire of the Masters Alfoso Guarini (tenor of recognized trajectory) and Juan Miguel Murani (famous Murcia pianist). On the other hand, he has completed studies at the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Educational mention at the Central University of Venezuela and subsequently updates his training in the psychoanalytic area.

About the lesson

As a teacher, my main method is to know how to listen to what the student needs to know how to guide him to where he wants to go. I fervently believe that in art, there is nothing written and each person has to find their own path, with the help of the right person; therefore, I am a teacher who always looks for the best results in his students. Due to my various technical transitions (from baritone to tenor), I know perfectly the different scenarios in which a person can be found when learning, whether initiated or not in music.
