About Oliver
hello my name is Oliver and I'm a Dyslexic actor, teacher and National Youth Theatre Alumni.
when I was 12 I couldn't read a single word due to my Dyslexia, and acting really helped me to gain confidence in myself and improve my way of learning.
I teach Shakespeare at 'Berridge Programs' during the summer and want to continue this work in the off seasons.
Acting can really inspire and move people, helping them to understand and overcome personal challenges within themselves and others.
I wish to inspire the next generation of artists and creatives to follow their passions and dreams.

we will generally be using Stanislavsky methods within my sessions where we will work together to uncover the character in a way that makes sense to you. using such techniques as 'magic if', '5 Ws' and given circumstances.
Now with Shakespeare monologues I will give you the tools to translate the works and work with you to demonstrate the way it is to be performed. going over iambic pentameter, verse and prose, Elizabethan acting techniques and much more.
