Hi! Thanks for visiting my ad! To explain a bit of background, I was on a B in Maths in Year 12 (AS) but by changing the way I worked and studied, I managed to achieve an A in my final A-Levels (Year 13), being only 3 marks off an A*. I successfully gained a place to study Veterinary Medicine, and am now in my final year of the course, with no resits. Having felt hopeless myself following my AS exams, I can relate and appreciate how lost students can feel and would love to pass on my knowledge and techniques in the hopes of improving confidence and thus consolidating or improving grades.

About the lesson

What I feel is most beneficial for students is if they have a list of specific topics they wish to cover in a lesson, allowing me to prepare for the lesson with notes and questions. After the lesson students should have the motivation and drive to read over their notes and practice past questions before the next lesson, allowing them to create another list with specific questions we can address together. Speaking from experience, if students do not have the drive, motivation and want to achieve their necessary grades then regardless of the amount of help given, the grades will not be achieved to put it simply.

Details

Cancellation's must be done a minimum of 24 hours prior to lesson start time. If cancellations are made within 24 hours, 50% commission will be required.

Available most evenings & weekends, with the odd exception, however plenty of notice will be given.
