About the lesson

I am a graduate from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance.
I teach voice and flute, working with students of all ages and levels of development (with children as young as 5 years old). I have also taught beginner piano.
I believe that everyone is a unique person with their own unique instrument. My lessons involve explore how to unleash your full potential, discovering your voice! I guide the student to experiment with connecting to their bodies.

BMus (Vocal Perf).
RCM Grade 10 flute.

I have been teaching for at least 3 years.

I run my own studio in two locations. In addition to this, I have taught in other studios, workshopped with students to prepare them for their school musicals, and do online teaching.

I am a teacher who continuously loves to learn. My students teach me as much or more than I teach them. Most recently, I have completed a certification through Total Vocal Freedom that taught me tools to share with my students that allow for a stronger voice-body connection, utilizing our entire being.

Many of my students have shown tremendous growth! The most note-worthy is with an adult male student. Within two weeks of taking lessons, we were making leaps of progress on his pitch-matching! Within ten 20-minute lessons, he is singing a whole song!
