About Jamie
I've been teaching GCSE maths and sciences to 3 students over the past two years, all at different stages of their course. I think my experience has made me receptive to the differing needs of every student and how they best learn content and develop their understanding.

My lessons will first look at identifying weaknesses or misconceptions in the students understanding, either through asking them what they know they need to work on or through trying some worksheets and identifying problems that arise. We will then try to tackle these issues using clear worked examples, memory techniques or any method the student seems particularly receptive to. Finally, we'll work through problems to try and apply the knowledge, with emphasis on any specificities of mark schemes that should be learnt.
