When it comes to my approach on education, flexibility is key. I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects because I understand that having a well rounded foundation can open many opportunities for individuals in the future.
My practice includes using visual aids and re-teaching strategies. As well, providing a stress free environment by teaching your child to manage there emotions during situations that cause a fight/flight/freeze reaction(s). In heightened states of stress our bodies can no longer absorb new information. Understanding how to manage emotions when learning new subjects will further aid in comprehension.
I am comfortable teaching in several subjects. These subjects include mathematics up to grade nine, english from pre-kindergarten to high school, as well as voice lessons for all ages. However I can accommodate tutoring in other subjects and assist in homework completion or school projects as well.
