About Rian
I am a committed Guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching and professional experience, dedicated to shaping confident and skilled young musicians. I teach school and college students, and over the years, I have guided many beginners towards becoming confident performers.
Some of my proudest milestones include students performing independently at school programmes, college cultural events, and music competitions after months of consistent training. I strongly believe that learning guitar is not just about memorising chords but about understanding rhythm, tone, expression, and musical discipline.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals such as proper posture, chord clarity, smooth transitions, scale practice, finger exercises, and timing control. I also teach students how to practice efficiently so they can improve faster without feeling overwhelmed.
My classes are supportive, structured, and motivating. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel encouraged to explore music confidently and develop a lifelong connection with the guitar.

In my Guitar classes, I combine Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create a positive and productive learning environment. I motivate students by helping them understand that progress comes from patience and dedication.
I recognise every small achievement to boost their confidence. Communication plays a key role in my teaching style. I break down complex techniques into manageable parts and provide step-by-step demonstrations. Students are encouraged to ask questions and clarify doubts freely.
Integrity means I maintain high standards in teaching rhythm accuracy, chord clarity, smooth coordination, and consistent practice habits. I correct mistakes gently and guide students responsibly. Creativity is developed through experimenting with chord variations, improvisation exercises, and composing simple melodies. Besides Guitar, I also teach rhythm training and harmony basics for overall musical development.
