About Mason
I’m a neuroscience student because I love understanding how people work. Growing up, I became interested in physiology after seeing how a heart condition affected my brother’s everyday life. Later, when I discovered psychology in university, I was fascinated by the connection between the brain, behavior, and the human body. Neuroscience gave me the opportunity to explore both interests.
Outside of class, I am involved in a few neuroscience labs at Western University and volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Society. I also enjoy reading, running, and learning new skills, such as playing the guitar.

I'm an Honours Neuroscience student at Western University. I am passionate about science and math. Throughout my academic journey, I have learned that success comes from active learning, practice, and support, rather than natural talent.
My teaching style will be focused on making learning engaging and approachable. My best teachers made difficult concepts exciting and sometimes even fun, which is the same energy I plan to bring.
I believe that nobody is "bad" at science or math. The challenge is finding a learning strategy that works for you. For me, it's practice questions, diagrams, and active recall. But every student learns differently, and I will make it my job to help you find what works best for you.
I am confident tutoring high school students in biology and physiology, as well as introductory university courses. My goal is for every student to leave a session feeling a little more confident than they did at the start.
