About Andie
I am in the final year of my BSc Honours degree at the University of Guelph studying Wildlife Biology & Conservation with a minor in Applied Geomatics. Throughout my undergrad, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while balancing a job, recreational sports, and training service dogs. Therefore, time management and maintaining a healthy life balance are important skills that I bring into all of my lessons, because tutoring should be more than just academics.

My lessons are tailored to the students learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or read/write) and always focus on understand rather than memorizing. I incorporate cognitive skills and study strategies into my lessons so that my students "learn how to learn" and are able to become strong, independent learners in their future education. I have a strong background in the sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, geography), maths (functions, algebra, data management, statistics), and writing (scientific and creative). More importantly, I love learning and fostering curiosity for STEM in the next generation.
