About Gauher

I'm a designer with a passion for creating Visual Branding and User-Centred Design. Think of me as someone who weaves together creative design, front-end development, and problem-solving. My focus? Making the connection between business goals and what users need for design experiences that simply make sense. My journey so far? Imagine understanding user needs, aligning with business objectives, and creating designs that fit within technical boundaries. From sketching user journeys to creating user personas that guide designs, and then bringing these concepts to life with interactive prototypes. What really clicks with me? Taking complex business needs and user wishes, and moulding them into seamless design experiences that just click. Think of it as crafting engaging interactions and presenting tricky data in smart ways. I've also got experience with refreshing older systems and smoothing out design wrinkles. When it comes to collaborating with agile teams and management, I'm all about keeping projects on track. Along the way, I've worn different hats – from nurturing design teams and guiding non-designers through the world of design, to teaching graphic design at all levels. Yep, I'm your go-to for sharing design insights in a way that everyone can grasp. My toolkit includes things like: - Visual Branding and Identity - Smart Design Strategies - Understanding Users through Research - Cooking up Creative Ideas - Designing for Everyone with Accessibility in Mind - Creating Pleasing Designs - Storytelling with Design - Design Templates - Friendly Style Guides - Patterns for Digital and Print - Designing User Experiences - Creating User Personas - Mapping User Journeys - Making Designs Interactive - Testing with Real Users - Content Management - Responsive Design - Rapid Prototyping Let's work together to learn how to turn ideas into practical design experiences that shine!

About the lesson

I design lessons that match your unique style of learning. With experience teaching both beginner and advanced graphic design, along with my real-world industry background, I focus on practical skills rather than just theory. An hour-long session strikes the right balance, ensuring you absorb new concepts comfortably. No matter where your skills stand, these lessons are customised for you. After getting a grasp of your current abilities and aspirations, I tailor each session accordingly. If you're eager to explore design thinking, grasp design elements and principles, and get hands-on experience with industry tools, this class is spot-on for you. We won't just be sticking to the textbooks – we'll tackle actual design challenges and understand how design serves as a powerful means of communication, whether for print or web. Let's dive into the world of creativity together!

I really enjoyed my lesson with Ranjit. He came prepared with questions and a clear vision for what he wanted to achieve, which provided a strong foundation for our discussion. We discussed about the design process and identified an alternative approach that may better support his business goals. His positive and enthusiastic energy made the lesson enjoyable and productive.
