About Konomi

Hello ! Konnichiwa ! My name is Konomi :) I was born in Kyoto and now live in northern Osaka. ❀Personality❀ My greatest happiness comes from making others smile :) I’m an optimistic person who always believes things will work out! Bright and cheerful, I love to laugh a lot :) I enjoy looking at things from different perspectives. People often tell me I’m honest and caring ♡ ❀ A Bit More About Me ❀ I’m Konomi, born in beautiful Kyoto and currently living in Osaka. My hometown is surrounded by World Heritage temples and shrines, and it’s full of natural beauty and fresh, clean air. Now, I’m raising two children in this rich natural environment. As a mom, I’ve been rediscovering the depth of traditional Japanese culture—especially its food, festivals, and seasonal customs. I love making homemade fermented foods and seasonings, exploring their deep, complex flavors. Sharing the joy of seasonal Japanese meals and traditions with my children is one of my greatest pleasures. In my lessons, I’ll help you explore Japanese culture in a fun, interactive way—especially through anime and manga! (One Piece has been my favorite since I was a child—it’s like my life bible!) By using your favorite stories as learning materials, you’ll naturally absorb the language and stay motivated. If you’re planning a trip to the Kansai area, I’d be happy to recommend local favorites and hidden gems in Kyoto ♩ I can even help with your travel plans, such as convenient places to stay.
