University graduate with a bachelors degree. Nursing student graduate with a 4.0 GPA. Took a variety of math/statistic courses while at Brock University. Excelled in all math courses with an average of 85% and higher. Lead multiple study groups to mentor my peers for the same class. Able to simplify teachers work for optimal understanding. My teaching methods include starting from where the student knows and building onto the subject with complex ideologies and concepts. Providing multiple examples as well as real life examples whenever possible. I enjoy drawing as well as writing everything down to help the student understand. Reiterating is another concept in teaching I do as it allows the student to understand the importance and is reminded more than once. Lastly, I enjoy the student teaching me the concept back as if I was not to know a thing, this allows me as the “student” to ask questions. This methodology allows the student to in-depth understand the concept and what key aspects they may need to look further in detail or clarify. I am very flexible with schedules.
