About Charowal
Struggling with rhythm is common for many players. You feel stuck. I fix this by using a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan to address your gaps.
We break down strumming patterns and scales and modes until they feel natural. Intermediate learners often need help with lead guitar or electric technique. My approach emphasizes efficiency so you spend less time guessing. We work through the mechanics until the notes flow without hesitation.

Calloused fingertips and the metallic ring of a well-tuned guitar are the constants in my life. I have guided 348 students over 13 years, helping each person find their own voice on the fretboard. My personal narrative involves 12 years of playing Québécois folk, which influences how I view rhythm and phrasing.
I enjoy working with returning learners and those preparing for grade exams. My BA in music from Concordia University taught me that technical precision must serve the song. I am here to help you move past plateaus with honest, hands-on instruction. Let us get to work on your technique.
