About Debora

With over 27 years of tennis experience, I deliver world-class training to players of all levels. I am a two-time national champion (U16 and U18) from Chile, a former WTA-ranked player, and an NCAA Division I athlete. Tennis gave me the opportunity to earn a full U.S. scholarship, where I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees while competing at the highest collegiate level. At Hawai‘i Pacific University, I became a two-time West Conference champion. As a coach and mentor, I place a strong focus on technique, the mental game, and footwork on court, which allows me to quickly identify and correct anything that may be holding back your progress. Today, as Director of Aloha Tennis Academy in Hawai‘i and Palm Beach Tennis & Performance in Boca Raton, Florida, I am passionate about helping my students unlock their full potential—on and off the court. Perfect! I’ve taken many tennis lessons, and just when I thought I may not need more, working with Debbie made me realize how much more there is to learn.

What could be better than learning from a former WTA player? In just two sessions, I felt like I learned so much and the time was very productive. Debbie was able to quickly identify areas to improve and explain them in a practical way that made sense.

I also really enjoyed playing on the clay courts, which added a great experience to the sessions. I would highly recommend Debbie to anyone looking to improve their game.
