About Julianna
I approach learning with a strength-based approach to focus on areas of struggle as actual opportunities to grow in which I can support the students to build their self-esteem & motivation to show their best work. This is an attitude I approach my life with, as well as supporting my daughter & family with these simple reminders when facing challenges or feelings. I have a passion for supporting students' growth & watching them succeed.

As a school OTR, I have supported students with sensory regulation & visual motor/visual perceptual challenges, learning disabilities. My teaching method focuses on supporting students with special needs, particularly with visual perceptual & visual-motor needs that impact their reading performance. I have benefits in pairing sensory-motor tasks integrating them for their academic reading tasks to support their progress. Sometimes, students just may benefit from a visual tracking device or tinted overlays to improve their comfort & overall performance with reading tasks.
