About Bethany

I developed a strong passion for Media Studies whilst studying it at A-Level, where I achieved an A grade. Throughout my studies, I created a range of effective resources and revision techniques that not only enhanced my own understanding but also helped me explain complex media concepts with clarity and confidence.

About the lesson

I firmly believe that every student learns differently. My tutoring approach is adaptable and student-centred, ensuring that lessons are tailored to individual learning styles and goals. Whether you need help with essay writing, theory comprehension, or exam preparation, I aim to make Media Studies engaging, accessible, and rewarding for all learners. After studying the course, I am aware that different schools teach different 'set texts' and in particular I have knowledge on: - The Bridge (Crime drama) - Peaky Blinders (Crime Drama) - Riptide, Vance Joy (Music Video) - Formation, Beyoncé (Music Video) - Kiss of the Vampire (Poster) - Tide Advertisement (Poster) - I, Daniel Blake (Film) - Black Panther (Film) - Tokyo 2020 Olympics Advertisement (Video) - Assassin's Creed (Video Game) - KSI (Social Media) - Woman's Hour (Podcast) - The Times and The Daily Mirror (Newspapers)
