About Sara

初めまして！一緒に日本語の勉強をしませんか？ Hi, would you like to learn Japanese with me? Based in Manchester, I am offering Japanese language lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Being half Japanese and growing up in Japan, I've really appreciated this culture and language, and hope to pass my love for it to others. I offer lessons which span from basic sentences, vocabulary to conversations, and can customise this to your desires in learning the language. My qualifications to teach include a JLPT N1, and training from the tutoring agency EDUBAL. よろしくお願いします！

About the lesson

My lessons will be an hour long, and can start off with going over your simple homework tasks. Then, we will learn new concepts - that can be grammar, vocabulary, or useful phrases. This will include some conversations for you to experience an authentic Japanese conversation with me. For beginners, the lessons will follow the Genki I textbook, but with my input to achieve a native-sounding vocabulary.

I have experience teaching various subjects in both English and Japanese, adjusting the linguistic level to the student's needs. These lessons ranged from language lessons, to teaching economics, maths and physics in either languages. My lessons are available for all ages, and the material will be adjusted accordingly.

Please note that for in person lessons, the transport costs may vary depending on our lesson location.

I will also charge 1/3 of the lesson price for the trial lesson if it is in person, mainly to account for the travel costs. Thank you for your understanding.
