About Emily-Jayne
I believe teaching maths step by step is crucial to improving, so students understand the underlying process which will underpin all their problems. I start lessons by running through topics as a whole, give students strategies specific to their learning style, and then finish by working on key skills that underpin their studies.
I have worked as a volunteer math and reading tutor for the younger students all throughout my primary school years and over this time developed communication skills, an ability to adapt the lesson to each individual students needs and have also learnt how to improve the problem solving process by integrating teamwork into my lessons.

Will only travel to certain areas and travel fee is anywhere more than 2km away from where I live. Will also tutor at the Wynnum library for no travel fee. Please pay in cash only and there is a 50% cancellation fee if I’m not alerted up to 30 mins before scheduled lesson time because I know that sometimes life just gets in the way.
