About Christina
Need help in a subject you’re struggling with? I’d love to help you reach your goal. I have been working with children for nearly 15 years. During this time I have tutored for many families who have children in early elementary. I specialize in working with children from a very young age, starting at 4 and up to age 7. I have a daughter who is dyslexic myself so I know the importance of getting the extra help that is needed to help them succeed. Not only do I work with the student one on one in achieving these goals but I also like to add a little 5 min brain break in there to get them moving a little and let the little brains rest a minute. I’d love to help your kiddo learn and grow to be the best they can be!

Lessons for ages 4-7 will depend on the subject at hand. I incorporate hands-on activities and games with your typical worksheets to help your child succeed. For example, if we’re working on counting or adding/subtracting we won’t just count on fingers or draw tallies. Instead, we will use something like Cheerios or Skittles to get them going and help with the counting. Something that is important is giving your little one a little brain break. This could look like a quick 5 min break to get their body moving and let their minds rest a moment before learning more!
