About Dia

Hi everyone! I am currently a Year 13 student at Chelmsford County High School for Girls. My A-Level subjects include Politics, Philosophy and Economics and I have plenty of experience in writing essays. My favourite subject at GCSE was English and I have a particular focus in Romeo and Juliet and Love and Relationship in the poetry anthology. I also volunteer at a primary school so I have experience in teaching and working with young children.

About the lesson

My techniques include working through past papers with each student with the aim of completing one practice paper each week.

In addition to past paper completion, I will create a plan of teaching with each student in their first lesson to discover areas they may struggle with and then focus on strengthening these topics in particular.

Alongside teaching content, students will also be taught exam skills such as timing, efficiency and how to best tackle each question to maximise marks. GCSE students will also have free access to my revision notes that I used in the 2022 examinations.

Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour.

Main clients include Year 3 upwards for 11+ tuition and Year 10-11 for GCSE English Literature and English Language tuition.

Qualifications include Grade 9 at GCSE for English Literature and English Language.
