About Tofunmi
Hello! My name is Tofunmi. I absolutely love to read, mainly romantasy books (Romance fantasy). I like to crochet, draw, and have been learning Chinese for about 6 months. I know a bit of Spanish, French, a little Korean and even less BSL.
Personality-wise, I'm a very friendly and patient, yet very outgoing person so I tend to get along really well with most people. I'm quick to learn and understand new things and tend to find creative and effective ways to explain concepts to my friends when they're having trouble understanding things we're being taught.

My approach to tutoring is centred around patience, encouragement and adapting to each student's individual learning style. I believe every student learns differently, so rather than expecting everyone to understand concepts in the same way, I aim to explain ideas using different methods until they make sense.
As a current A-level student, I understand that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when students lose confidence or feel pressured. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace without fear of judgement.
I encourage students to develop a genuine understanding of topics rather than simply memorising methods. By breaking complex problems into smaller, manageable steps and celebrating progress along the way, I hope to build both their knowledge and their confidence. I also believe regular practice, positive reinforcement and clear communication with parents are key to helping students achieve their goals.
Above all, I want my students to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they arrived, knowing that with the right support and consistent effort, they are capable of succeeding. Although I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I bring enthusiasm, strong subject knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping students grow in both confidence and ability.
