About Antoine

I am a driven and motivated year 12 student aspiring to study aerospace engineering at Imperial College London. Mathematics is my strongest subject alongside English literature, and throughout the GCSE season I have been mentoring my peers and year 10 students with their own work and revision. I frequently help my brother with his key stage 3 maths and English work and my tutoring at SET tuition properly familiarised and adapted me to tutoring in the aforementioned age range.

About the lesson

-9 GCSEs, six grade 9s (maths, combined science, English literature, history, French), grade 8 in English language, 7s in economics and art. -Currently studying maths, further maths, physics and politics A levels. -Achieved marks of 71/80, 75/80 and 77/80 in my GCSE maths papers. -Have been practising olympiad maths since the start of the year for the BMO and UKMT competitions. -Sat 5 UKMT competitions, qualifying for both Kangaroo and Olympiad. - Attended university level applied maths and physics classes at UCL as part of an aerospace engineering work experience. -Tutoring at SET tuition centre (KS1 maths, 11+ maths and English, KS3 maths, GCSE maths). -Have typically taught in 1 or 2 hour sessions, can teach sessions back to back (2-3 hours at a time) at least once a week. -Familiar with many useful websites for maths and English practice and frequently use MS Teams and Google Slides to ensure a smooth learning experience -Can teach children performing at any level, especially those gifted who exceed the expectations of the national curriculum.
