About Yang

My name is Yang, and I am thrilled to be joining Superprof as a Mandarin Chinese tutor. Originally hailing from the vibrant city of Shanghai, I have been immersed in the beauty and intricacies of the Mandarin language since childhood. Growing up in Shanghai provided me with a deep appreciation for not just the language itself, but also the rich cultural tapestry it represents.

I pursued my higher education at a prestigious 985 university in China, where I further honed my understanding of Mandarin and its nuances. Now, I am eager to share my knowledge and passion for the language with students from all walks of life.

My teaching approach is dynamic and interactive, tailored to suit the unique needs and learning styles of each individual student. Whether you're a beginner eager to grasp the basics or an intermediate learner striving for fluency, I am committed to helping you achieve your language goals in a fun and engaging manner.

Beyond just teaching the language, I aim to provide insights into Chinese culture, history, and traditions, offering a holistic learning experience that goes beyond grammar and vocabulary.

About the lesson

I like to teach language through Daily Life topics, Chinese Poems, News and Games.
I would also share Interesting Stories of Chinese culture and society.

My lessons suit for all level students. I will develop customized lesson plans for individual students and design specific activities to enable the integration of four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
