About Margot
Student clarity remains the primary outcome of our time spent together. We pursue mastery through the RCM syllabus to ensure consistent growth.
Monthly progress reports are shared with parents to keep expectations clear. My background in conservatory training informs every technical adjustment I suggest. Vibrato and intonation are refined through patient repetition. We move through difficult passages by breaking them into manageable segments.
Hard work leads to measurable results during these sessions. Consistency is the key to progress.

Self-taught players looking for structure along with advanced learners find clarity in my instruction. I hold a Bachelor of Music from McGill where I focused on violin and voice. Precision defines my approach.
My 7 years of teaching experience allow me to build solid foundations. I integrate scales, arpeggios, and intonation work into every routine. Tuning by ear is vital. Shifting positions and tone production remain core components of my technical training.
Music theory ties these elements together seamlessly. I enjoy watching students grasp complex classical repertoire through discipline. It is rewarding work.
