About Vincent
Structure is often more effective than raw talent when learning the guitar. I find that most players struggle because they jump into barre chords without building ear training first. My lessons focus on the RCM syllabus while incorporating custom backing tracks so you can practice soloing at home. We tackle chord transitions and songwriting in a way that respects your time.
Being a multi-instrumentalist allows me to explain music theory in a practical context. I rely on my 6 years of performing across Canada to keep our rhythm guitar work grounded. Teaching 209 students has taught me how to keep things efficient and fun.

Strumming patterns, acoustic technique, and song structure are the tools I use to help you grow. I suppose I should mention that my teaching style is quite precise.
I work with 209 students ranging from absolute beginners to advanced players seeking structure. My Bachelor of Music from Humber College and RCM Grade 10 training provide the foundation for our sessions.
I have spent 6 years performing folk and classical music across Canada. You might find that rhythm guitar and fingerpicking take some time to settle in. Improvisation and soloing become natural once you master the basics. You are welcome to reach out if you want to explore these skills.
