About Celeste
Theory provides the structure required to play music with freedom. I believe that technical mastery is a requirement for artistic expression.
My teaching style relies on the deep knowledge gained during my time at McGill. I guide working professionals and intermediate learners through challenging repertoire with care. Providing support for self-taught players who need a clear path is a specialty of mine. Kids and returning learners benefit from the systematic approach I bring to every session.
We address music theory and reading tabs together in a disciplined format. My 7 years of experience ensures that we avoid common pitfalls in your development. I enjoy the process of turning complex concepts into manageable exercises. Musical growth is an enjoyable journey when you have the right foundation.

Music started for me through the conservatory training I pursued alongside my violin studies. I picked up the guitar to broaden my musical perspective. My Bachelor of Music from McGill sharpened my focus on complex theory and acoustic techniques.
Teaching allows me to share these skills with many different people. I possess 7 years of experience helping students master barre chords and fingerpicking. You will find that I emphasize proper TUNING AND MAINTENANCE as part of our routine.
Developing strong improvisation and soloing abilities remains a core part of my practice. I enjoy seeing students finally read tabs with total confidence. Helping others connect with music is quite rewarding.
