About Kenneth
Playing at home is much easier when you have the right tools. I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home without needing a full band. My background in vocal performance at UBC helps me explain how lead guitar phrasing mimics the human voice.
We work on songwriting and proper maintenance, which keeps your instrument in shape. You might find that tuning becomes a meditative ritual. It is genuinely fun to turn technical exercises into creative moments.

Music connects my history as a performer to my current life as a teacher. I have taught 344 students over 11 years. My studio is a space where neurodivergent learners feel safe to experiment with electric technique, scales, and modes.
I balance technical rigor with the joy of discovery. Watching a student find their sound is the highlight of my day.
