About Travis
My name is Travis Adey, I’m born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. I moved to Alberta Canada in 2012 for work. I started playing button accordion when I was 4, my dad taught me and I learned all by ear. I have played in many concerts in school and festivals all around, I recall the biggest crowd being 40,000. I have opened up in concert for the Ennis Sisters and the Irish Descendants. I had always wanted to give lessons but of course life happens. Now I’m 35 years old I would love to share my talent. I’d love to start giving lessons. If you’re interested I would love to hear from you!

I have the confidence if you give me time you will become an inspiration to our history. I have 30+ years experience and still growing, I love to learn and teach to individuals that have the potential, dedication to learn, strive, and succeed.
Full disclosure: By day, I am a firefighter. This means that sometimes my schedule may be unpredictable. I do my best to limit bookings to off-peak times. However, when duty calls, I hope you understand that I must answer. Rest assured that during my time with you, I will be just as dedicated. Except in extenuating circumstances, I will give at least 24 hours notice of any required cancelations or requests to re-book. If I ever have to cancel a lesson, and we cannot mutually agree upon an alternate meeting time, I will refund any unused lesson fees in full.
