About Michael
Plucking your first string starts a new journey. The sound rings out clearly in our first session. I use my University of Toronto degree to organize lessons on improvisation, soloing, and barre chords. You receive a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum.
This ensures you maintain progress between our meetings. I guide working professionals and adults through the technical challenges of the instrument. It is just about regular output. We build your skills step by step.

Teaching 476 students has shaped how I view the fretboard. I use my background in music education to simplify rhythm, scales, lead techniques, and sheet music reading. My own path as a newcomer in Canada influences how I mentor teens and adults. I often weave songwriting tips into our sessions for a creative edge.
